Event: Tanzania Project meeting


We will be having a Tanzania Project Meeting,Wednesday, July 31 at MWD. We will be planning in detail our assessment trip in September.

We have 3 main teams for the trip:

  • Current Tap Water Distribution System, lead by David & Jared
  • Implemented Rain Water Catchment System, lead by Gustavo
  • Health Survey, lead by Stephanie


  • Review Field Manual drafts for each team.
  • Funding for travel i.e. Global Giving grant, Gofundme website….
  • Exact travel dates & costs
  • Immunizations

Time: 7:00 PM

Location: MWD Building, Committee Room 1-101 – 700 North Alameda Street, Los Angeles, CA

**If this is your first meeting please read important information below about the meeting location: 

Please sign in at the security desk located in the rotunda.  Meeting will be in room 1-101. 

We are cleared to use the underground employee parking located at the rear (east side) of the building.  Please tell the security guard at the entrance to the garage that you are here for the EWB meeting and when you get to the gate press the buzzer and tell them again you are here for the EWB meeting.  Around 7pm the main garage entrance will close and you will need to use the after hours entrance on the front (west side) of the building. Please use the elevator to come up to the 1st floor as the stairs will take you outside the building.

For anyone not driving please use the entrance on the west side of the building parallel with Alameda.  Use the buzzer to the left of the door and tell security you are here for the EWB meeting.
